In Marcus Buckingham’s book entitled Now, Discover Your Strengths, he presents the thesis that individuals should leverage their strongest attributes instead of focusing on improving their faults and failings. He argues that by finding and refining key strengths, individuals can increase their productivity and improve their overall job satisfaction. Buckingham also points out that only 20 percent of employees at large corporations feel that their strengths are at play in every day work situations.
