HBSC is seeking a World-class consulting leader to help expand our rapidly growing ERP / MRP consulting practice. HBSC is looking for a collaborative solutions consultant with strong management and leadership skills and deep technical acumen. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for managing both hands-on strategy and delivery as well as building excellent client relationship.
The ideal candidate will have both a strategy and delivery-focused mindset and the ability to develop a prioritized ERP / MRP client roadmap and then execute. The ability to help automate and integrate key areas of business, including all areas of manufacturing, operations, field service, and accounting is critical. As a Senior Consultant, you will help clients from requirements analysis and software selection through implementation and post-implementation support.
Role
- Lead Manufacturing Management Strategy and Delivery engagements
- Provide broad and deep manufacturing operations consulting expertise
- Apply lean manufacturing concepts and rationalize BOMs, process flows, execution reporting and supply chain, making a new ERP/MRP system work effectively
- Create clear documentation and rationalize existing process flows using target ERP technology
- Mentor clients in material management best practices and system refinement
- Bridge the departmental interfaces and solve configuration and set-up issues
- Demonstrate Change Management expertise to overcome organizational hurdles
- Support a Change Management / training program to ensure user adoption
- Effectively manage relationships across Operations, Customer Service, Purchasing, Planning and logistics with Business Process Owners
- Work independently and in teams to manage day to day deliverables (documentation, configuration, testing, training, etc.)
- Guide business counterparts through process re-engineering sessions
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead business transformation requirements gathering exercises across IT, Departmental Manufacturing teams, Business Process Owners, and Business Process Leads
- Lead and/or support projects in Operation, Production, Customer Service, and Logistics.
- Recommend technical and system enhancements required to enable process standardization and optimization
Knowledge & Skill Requirements
- 12+ years of manufacturing and/or financial management experience
- Experience with discrete and repetitive manufacturing processes
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science or related field
- 8 years of experience implementing, enhancing, and supporting ERP / MRP solutions
- Thorough understanding of integration points including MM, PP, WM, MRP and QM
- Awareness of latest technology trends and vendor products and the ability to present recommendations in a technology roadmap format
- Proven quality management skills
- Effective problem-solving skills and various requirements gathering techniques
- Minimum 4 full life cycle ERP / MPR implementations
